With your commitment to university research and teaching, you will inspire students for your subject and promote the next generation of academics in psychiatry in general and in child and adolescent psychiatry in particular. Your participative, goal-oriented understanding of leadership ensures an attractive working environment for academic and clinical staff of all professional groups.
You will lead a child and adolescent psychiatry research group and create a fertile environment for a successful research team. Your scientific expertise and broad interest in applied-clinical as well as translational research ensures and promotes the continuing and advanced training of junior researchers from all professional groups. As Director of the Clinic for Children and Adolescents, you will be responsible for the professional and economic management of the clinic and, as a member of the Executive Board of the University Psychiatric Clinics Basel, for the implementation of the strategy. Your clinical expertise and interest in continuing medical education ensures and promotes the continuing and advanced training of residents and senior physicians in child and adolescent psychiatry according to the guidelines of the Swiss Institute for Continuing Medical Education (SIWF).

La Fondation Pôle Autisme (FPA) est un centre expert dans le domaine des troubles du développement. Elle s'occupe également d'enfants et d'adolescents de 0 à 18 ans présentant tous types de troubles psychologiques, cognitifs, ou d’apprentissage qui peuvent bénéficier d'une action thérapeutique à leurs difficultés afin de répondre aux critères de formation d’un établissement de catégorie A.
La FPA fait partie d’un groupement de formation A pour la spécialisation FMH en psychiatrie de l’enfant et de l'adolescent. Par sa forte orientation universitaire, le centre offre la possibilité de participer à des recherches dans le domaine des neurosciences orientées vers la clinique sous certaines conditions.
